Landlords using this site may not refuse to rent, set different terms, or advertise preferences based on race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, nationality, sex, pregnancy or breastfeeding, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic partnership status, familial status, disability, age, liability for military service, or source of lawful income or rent payment (including Section 8 and other housing vouchers).

Under New Jersey's Fair Chance in Housing Act, landlords generally may not ask about criminal history until after a conditional offer.
